Design Optimization of The Production Process

This bachelor thesis is focused on the optimization of manufacturing process of heated door at SCHOTT FLAT GLASS CR, Ltd., where downtimes occur as a result of unbalanced workplaces together with inappropriate layout of the workplace in the production. The first part explains the concepts of lean manufacturing, types of wasting and balancing workplaces through Yamazumi method. Further part consists of an analysis of the current state and the unveiling of manufacturing activities responsible for downtimes. The last section includes proposals of possible solutions for the situation, leading to reduced movements of material, human resources and such distribution of manufacturing operations among operators that will result in the elimination of downtimes, reduction of tact time and saving of production area.
Helitronic Power 400 – machine inclusion to series production

This diploma thesis was focused on implementation of CNC tool grinder Helitronic Power 400 into serial production on flowing assembly. In the first part, optimization methods were described, which are used in practice as a tool for increasing the productivity and profitability of the company. The practical part was focused on the inclusion of the machine into serial production and on processes connected with the implementation.
On the technology of high-pressure fuel reservoir and its inspection

This thesis is focused on the analysis of current state of production technology and quality control of high-pressure reservoir. It deals mainly on the macro-metallographic test of the quality and position of the weld, the posibility of it´s implementation, organization of workplace. Task of this thesis is to find alternative methods of testing. Part of thesis is design and implementation of a new workplace´s layout based on experiment with using of alternative method of testing and assessment of implementation to achal process. The main objective is to improve the working condition and reduction of time for testing.
On the optimization of suction valve joint strength testing

The thesis is focused on the testing and its optimization of the joint suction valve strength. The main intention is an analysis the current state of the pressing process in the department for installations of suction valves at Bosch Diesel, Ltd. Jihlava. Part of the work is focused on the new design of the teswting equipment with an intention to reduce the need of service and reduction of the production tact, with a final discussion and assessment.
